Senior/Lead .NET Developer

We are looking for experienced .NET developers to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.  
You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, Canada, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams. 

Our scope is to develop applications that for example support pilots and crew, the airline in planning the flights, airports operations in modern technologies in mainly 2 streams: .NET and Java, with a front on VueJS/TypeScript. All applications are deployed to AWS Cloud.

Note that we can offer cooperation only to people who are located in Poland and can start immediately.

Mission/activities: 

  • Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
  • Help to define requirements, create software designs and translate them into code
  • Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
  • Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques

    Tech stack: 

    • .NET with C#
    • Vue.JS (Vue 2, 3) 
    • PostgreSQL, SQL Server
    • TypeScript  
    • AWS: AWS lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda Functions and other AWS services are used 
    • Microservices-based architecture 
    • GitLab, CI/CD in code, Jenkins/Cloudbees 
    • Terraform/CloudFormation, Artifactory 
    • End to end testing with Selenium, Python and Gherkin (90% of test coverage required) 
    • Static code analysis, SonarQube 

    Must have requirements:

    • Min. 5 years of experience in software development with .NET  
    • Being able to start immediately
    • At least Bachelor Degree in relevant field
    • Experience with SQL databases
    • Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills 
    • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA) 
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process  
    • Desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages 
    • Team player 
    • Customer-focused attitude 
    • Fluent English B2/C1 
    • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice 

    Nice to have requirements: 

    • Experience working in a distributed and international team
    • Experience with Vue.js
    • Previous experience with AWS
    • Leadership experience

    a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
