We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Technician to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our Norwegian clients.
Responsibilities:
- Primary technical resource for one or more applications
- Follow-up on day-to-day operational issues
- Coordination with application owner / service owner
- Troubleshooting complex and demanding cases
- Plan and execute migrations and upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Windows/Linux Core, DB, networking, virtualization, and security, to deliver integrated solutions
- Working in hybrid environments like Azure, AWS, GCP, On-prem
- Troubleshoot technical issues in SQL server instances
- VM performance
- Windows server failover cluster
- Assist customers in performance troubleshooting
- Support the customer or user on technical issues

Must-have requirements:
- Experience in managing and supporting critical enterprise applications across hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, and on-premises)
- Knowledge in the area of troubleshooting demanding cases, including SQL Server performance, VM optimization, and Windows Server failover clustering, etc.
- Experience in planning and executing migrations and upgrades while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Windows/Linux Core, database, networking, virtualization, and security to deliver integrated solutions
- Microsoft AZ-104 Azure Administrator or similar within AWS, GCP or OCI
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent
- AZ-800 and AZ-801: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
Nice to have requirements:
- Microsoft AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Microsoft AZ-140 Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
Other requirements:
- English B2 level
- Structured in operations and documentation
- Customer-oriented, ensuring stable and responsive end-user experience
- Team player, effective in cross-technology collaboration
- Proactive in identifying performance improvements and capacity needs
Working hours: 7-17 (8 hour shift)
