We are looking for Database Administrator (especially Oracle) to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to a project for a leading French broadcasting company.

Tech Stack on the project:

• Oracle DataBases (~40%)
• PostgreSQL(~40%)
• MS SQL Server (~10%)
• Other : Hyperion / MariaDB (~10%)

   

  Responsibilities:

   

• Providing 2nd line support for incidents, changes, requests and deployment for Customer infrastructure
• Intervene on production incidents of our customers.
• Coordination and assistance with application migrations.
• Study and implementation of monitoring and exploitation of databases.
• Writing installation, deployment and operation manuals.
• Know how to act quickly in the event of a critical incident.
• Know how to communicate, directly with the client, in the event of an incident or change.

   

   Must have requirements:

• Excellent skills in Oracle,
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Sybase
• French B2

   

  Nice-to-have requirements:

• Knowledge of VTOM (scheduler).
• Knowledge of cloud environments: Azure, AWS.
• Be comfortable with Windows and Unix/Linux environments.

Work system:

• Mon-Fri 8h00-20h00 (8-hour shift)
• Hybrid work model,
• On calls
• Office in Katowice.
