IT Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced IT Recruiter to join our Recruitment team at Sopra Steria Polska. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Source and attract candidates using various channels (job boards, referrals, direct sourcing etc.).
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ soft skills.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams and technical assessors.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in our ATS.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Track recruitment metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on IT market trends.

Must have requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT recruitment
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminology.
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English – min. B2
  • Fluency in Polish – min. C1

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems
  • Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and hiring compliance.
  • Fluency in French

We have hybrid work model and our office is located in the center of Katowice.

The recruitment process for this particular position consists of 2 stages:

  1. a short phone call with Talent Acquisition Manager (30 min)
  2. one hour long interview on Teams (general and technical questions)
