Senior ABAP Developer

We are looking for a Senior ABAP Developer to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.
You will work in an industrial environment in multinational team (Belgium, Poland).
Your mission will be to define the development architecture, governance, best practices and guidelines. You will be also involved in defining the development priorities and progress follow-up.

 

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship. 

 

Mission/activities:

  • Writing technical specifications.
  • Developing programs in a smart and reusable way.
  • Performing unit testing.
  • Providing quick and accurate estimates of project and enhancements.
  • Designing, developing and deploying ABAP solutions within SAP environments.

    • SAP ABAP
    • SAP interfaces
    • Fiori
    • CDS view
    • S/4 RISE
    • BTP platform

    Must have requirements:

    • Min. 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and other SAP modules.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and integration.
    • Experience in leading SAP implementation projects.
    • Experience with S/4 RISE and BTP platform.
    • Exposure of FI-CO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, EWMS module.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
    • Fluent English B2/C1.
    • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.

    Nice to have requirements:

    • Experience working in a distributed and international team
    • Experience in manufacturing sector
    • French language
