Senior Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular/React)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer proficient in Java and Angular/React to join Sopra Steria Poland for projects for our clients in the security and defense sector. You will work in a stable environment in a multinational team. 

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of secure, scalable web applications
  • Integrating with client’s standards, real-time data services, and mission-critical systems

Tech stack on the project:

  • Backend: Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot , (near) real-time RESTful web systems
  • Frontend: Angular/React
  • Version control systems: GIT; GitLab
  • Other: Maven, JQuery, RabbitMQ, Entity Framework and REST APIs
  • Methodology: AGILE, SCRUM

Must-have requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with full stack software development, covering all phases of the software development lifecycle, and over 10 years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering field
  • EU/NATO SECRET security clearance (or willingness to be cleared)
  • Fluent English C1
  • EU citizenship
  • PSD1 Professional Scrum Developer certification (or willingness to pass it)
  • Experience in Java and Angular/React
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong “can-do” attitude
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience of working on mission-critical systems.
  • Experience of working in a distributed and international team
