Java Developer (Back-end, Fullstack)

We are currently looking for experienced Java Developers for our Swiss client who specializes in finance sector.

As a new person you will join the team which is responsible for developing and integrating the "Front Office" applications that made available finance's assets for managers and end clients.

The team itself has around 70 employees and you would work together with other Developers, Product Managers, Project Managers as well as Business Analysts.

 

Mission/activities:

  • Contribute to the development of our existing "Front office" applications and products, more specifically those dedicated to portfolio management
  • Understand user needs, problems to be solved and technical constraints
  • Propose and implement adapted technological solutions taking into account the above-mentioned aspects

Tech stack:

  • Java
  • Springboot
  • Kubernetes/Docker
  • Node.js

  • Javascript
  • Angular, AngularJS

Must have requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Spring (at least 3 years of practical experience)
  • Experience with containers (Dockers / Kubernetes) and DevOps
  • Knowledge of Node.js
  • Practical experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Proactivity, team spirit attitude
  • English B2/C1
  • Ability to go occasionally on business trips and to our office

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience in front-end web development (Angular, AngularJS)
  • Good knowledge of Typescript/Javascript
  • Experience in finance/banking industry

The recruitment process in our company consists of two stages:

  • a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
  • one hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
