SAP/ABAP Developer

We are looking for SAP/ABAP Developers to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the
aerospace sector.

You will work in an industrial environment and a multi-functional team divided
between France, India, and Poland for a major aeronautical manufacturer. You will be
supervised by an experienced Project Manager and technical experts knowing the aeronautical
context.

Mission/activities:
Our mission is to develop SAP application that aims to manage all civilian aircrafts
technical documentation (Maintenance, Repair, Wiring diagrams, Parts catalogue etc.)
Our role is to provide the client with all needed tools to be able to author, produce and
dispatch those manuals to their customers (international airlines).

You will be integrated as technical consultant to ensure Sopra Steria delivery:
  • Conception & Design: translate Business needs in technical tasks according to overall architecture and best practices
  • Estimations: respecting abacus and based on technical objects number/complexity
  • Development: deploy with quality, performance, and best practices
  • Testing: ensure quality with unitary tests / system acceptance

Tech stack: 
  • ABAP R/3
  • ABAP OO
  • ABAP SQL (Oracle not HANA)
  • XML Transformations
  • Methodology: Waterfall/Agile

Must have: 
  • Min. 2 years of working experience as SAP Developer
  • Relevant experiences on SAP conception and development, particularly on specific developments (no specific needs on standard modules)
  • Precision and rigor expected on Transport Orders management and Performance axis
  • Good communication skills
  • English: B2/C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips and visits in the office

Nice to have: 
  • XML Transformations
  • Knowledge of the aeronautical sector

The recruitment process in our company consists of two stages:

  • a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
  • one hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
