Vue.js Developer

Location: Remote/Katowice

We are looking for front-end developers to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team for a client in the aerospace sector.

Our scope is to develop applications that support pilots and crew, the airline in planning the flights, airports operations in modern technologies in mainly 2 streams: .NET and Java, with a front on VueJS/TypeScript. All applications are deployed on AWS Cloud and orchestrated through AWS Lambda.



Your mission as a front-end developer, is to develop the front-end layer of the application.

You will work closely with GIS (Geographical Information System) based API to create front-end for visualisation and modification of data related to business domain.

As a Scrum team member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of implementation.

Tech stack:

  • .Net 6
  • VueJS (Vue 2, 3)
  • TypeScript (mostly the latest version)
  • AWS: AWS lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, numerous AWS services are used
  • Microservices-based architecture
  • GitLab, CI/CD in code, Jenkins/Cloudbees
  • Terraform, Artifactory, end to end testing with Selenium, Python and Gherkin

Methodology: SAFe (Lean Agile framework) & Scrum

Must have requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Solid IT technical background
  • Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process 
  • Fluent English B2/C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience working in a distributed and international team
