We are looking for a Business/Data Analyst to join the Sopra Steria Poland team responsible for data alignment and clean up before migration. The project involves analyzing a massive volume of data, including the restructuring and unification of two databases, migrating data to a newer version of one of the main databases, and preparing a new platform scheduled for migration next year. Many processes have already been automated through custom scripts, significantly reducing the time required for data correction. As a result, outdated information can now be identified and addressed much more efficiently.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.
Mission/tasks:
- Analysis of PKI subscribers database based on data provided from IAM platform which contains all registered users on Company/Subscribers/Devices level:
- data cleanup and enrichment – archiving subscribers, renaming Companies, add data from IAM base, etc - Writing scripts
- Mapping platforms
- Communication with the client in the context of migration
- Taking care of the documentation
Must-have requirements:
- Experience as Business/Data Analyst
- Scripting in Python or Bash
- Willing to commute to our office located in Katowice, Poland
- Fluent English: at least B2
Nice to have requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
- High attention to detail and the ability to stay focused while working with large datasets.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills, especially in presenting findings in a structured and understandable way.
- Experience with large-scale data analysis is a strong advantage.
